The image was taken at Burning Man in 2018. The sphere was the highly anticipated centre piece at Burning Man when the theme was 'I Robot.' Designed by architects Bjarke Ingels and Jakob Lange, the inflatable ORB had an 85-foot-inflatable diameter and was described as a "mirror for earth lovers." At a scale of 1/500,000 of our planet’s surface, the 'mirror,' which was constructed using the same chromatic fabric as NASA weather balloon, got covered in dust, as everything else does in Back Rock Desert.
