Cliffs of Moher photo shoot

I recently drove to the Cliffs of Moher to do a photo shoot with a big American family consisting of 14 people of different ages and generations.

It’s a pretty big trip from Dublin to the Atlantic Coast in Clare and took me around 4 hours each way. Irish motorways are great, but once you get on the country roads it slows down considerably. I think I also went wrong a few times- I relied on Google maps. Anyway when I got there the fabulous family of 14 had just arrived too and we met at the visitor centre.

We headed to the top of the cliffs. No matter how often you see the Cliffs of Moher, they are always awesome.

I met the family at the visitor’s centre- it costs €10 for 3 hours at the cliffs. Because I photographed mixed generations and people with various mobility levels, some availed of the golf cart that brings you to the top. It goes back and forth every twenty minutes. It’s great if you’re not feeling able or just want a lift. It’s pretty chill to walk along the cliffs though. There’s walls to protect you and you don’t have to walk very far to get an amazing view point.

My crew all had Aran jumpers, which looks incredible by the way. Granny came too and she had a blast with the grandkids. My style was light and fun and we made sure every family combination was photographed. I’ll happily take solo shots, headshots, romantic couples or big family photos for the ages.

We took photos for around an hour and then went on a little walk and took more photos of the cliffs myself. A short break for coffee and off I went again.

When I got back that night, I couldn’t wait to edit the photos and edited them in black and white and colour. They looked absolutely fabulous. I love capturing precious family moments in an epic location.

Contact me here and we can talk about your Cliffs of Moher shoot. Or somewhere else on in Ireland. Aran jumpers are optional..

This is me btw! I’m carrying a portable outdoor chair in my hand. I always have a few in the car should someone need to sit down. I got a lady to take a photo with my big professional camera. It’s never about me on shoots, so I appreciate any pictures people take. You can’t see the cliffs here, so it’s always better to get a professional to take your photo. I look forward to hearing from you and capturing you and your precious family on holidays in my beautiful home country!
