Vacation Photo Sessions

Whatever your reason for coming to Ireland- family, friends, occasions, weddings, birthdays, tracing your heritage , a graduation, going hiking or going on a pub crawl, there’s no better way to capture precious memories than to get your professional photos taken.

It really doesn’t matter what you do or indeed where you go, but creating lasting memories is a given in Ireland. So why not hire me - Barbara McCarthy Photos to come take your photo.

I’m lucky to live in a memorable place and am delighted to call Ireland home and am available to photograph people from all around the world coming to Ireland to enjoy our beautiful country and of course- fun people.

If you want to have photos taken - you can be alone or with a large group, just contact me and we can discuss where would suit. It could be in Stephens Green in Dublin, the Cliffs of Moher, Slieve League, Trinity College or the stunning beach of Curracloe.

Details of the Photo Session

Generally the photoshoot lasts around an hour- two hours, pending on where you are. I am more than happy to drive to where you are- and offer tips about where would suit.

When you get in touch with me, we discuss the size of your group, locations and what you’re looking for. In order to secure a date, I ask for a small non refundable deposit, and will get in touch again a few weeks before the photoshoot.

I will get in touch in the days before the shoot and discuss weather or alternatives if required. I often have two options- if I’m in Donegal or Kerry should the weather not play ball on one of the days.

Then we met up, at our chosen location and take beautify, natural, fun photos.

I will make sure everyone is photographed in all the variations you want before calling it a day. These kinds of shoots are very laid back and we always get lots of photos.

Once we’re all happy, I head off and deliver the images within 48 hours.

These will be processed and edited to a very high standard.

I also offer prints and wall art. This can discussed after I have edited the images and even beyond that. Check out my prints here:
