Welcome to Barbara McCarthy Photos! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Dublin based professional portrait, commercial and outdoor photographer, who travels the world and across Ireland to take photos of you.
I focus on portraits- family and business and outdoor/adventure photography. My style is pretty natural, using lots of natural light, but also ensuring everyone looks great and relaxed. This summer I will be focusing on our fabulous visitors coming to Ireland from all around who want to have their photo taken here. Professionalism, expertise and a stress free experience, I have a very relaxed approach, so you can enjoy having your photo taken, I’m really experienced, so I know where you need to stand or what you need to do, so you can just enjoy the session.
I focus on commercial and outdoor photography and my photos are very natural, but everyone looks great. When you look at my work on this site, you can see how I work with natural light as well as studio lights to create a very recognisable documentary style. I don’t do Kitsch, over processing or bad quality. I take pride in my work and go above and beyond to create the perfect image. As you can by this site, I don’t cut any corners.
