I am a freelance photographer, journalist and commentator based in Dublin. I work as a regular contributor to Al Jazeera,  The Sydney Morning Herald, The Irish Independent, The Sunday Times, The Sunday Independent, The Irish Times and others.

I covered the inauguration of Donald Trump in Washington in 2017 both as a journalist and photographer for Al Jazeera, The Sun and The Sunday Independent, The California primaries for Al Jazeera in June 2016, the German elections, the European migrant crisis, HM Queen Elizabeth II and Barack Obama’s visit to Ireland as well as the UK Elections, the Irish referendum on gay marriage and more.  I travelled to Sierra Leone, Peru, Bolivia and Zambia for Edmund Rice Development, where I photographed projects across the countries and put together over 100 interviews and film coverage.

Various assignments have taken me to the Oscars in Los Angeles, the Cannes Film Festival,  The Monaco Grand Prix and others. I also interviewed business leaders in Silicon Valley and was allowed a rare visit to the world’s largest telescope in Chile.

I also reported from Ibiza, Burning Man and China and was the only journalist to visit the Peru Two in prison in Lima, Peru. My exclusive interview featured in the Sunday Independent in December 2013.

As a commentator, I have appeared in shows including RTE’s Highly Recommended, Cutting Edge, Claire Byrne Live, The Savage Eye, TV3s The Tonight Show, The Sunday Show and in Germany on ‘Taff- Burning Man special’ on Pro 7, Sept 2018 amongst others.
